Yep. Sometimes I just wake up in the morning with a new pain.

That's how I tore my rotator cuff when I was 30 something. Just woke up with it

Hey had a great dinner planned yesterdays.
We wen top Morton do a bit of shopping needed original english muffins I was out grabbed a bag of salad we will have a chefs salad tomorrow I will make a few rolls to have with.

looking to get rid of my roo since i can not have one here but.. don't really want to let him go he is sweet and good for the young girls he hasn't crowed yet he is just 16 weeks old. the old girls kick his butt daily. so he should be a good roo by the time he gets to that point. any ideas on how to keep a roo quiet ??

I have no idea. My cockerels are 22 or 23 weeks old now and one of them started crowing a couple weeks ago. Only very early some mornings for 5 or 10 minutes, then he shuts up completely for the rest of the day without a peep, errr, crow.

But now his brother has started testing his voice. He waits until the dominant cockerel finishes, the he lets out a few lame squawks and that's it for him. Quiet the rest of the day.

Maybe your cockerel won't crow much. I guess they're all different.

Mine are both crowing now one is still a bit lame but heck maybe he is a slow learner ?

No crow collars don't really work. They choke the rooster and they still make enough sound to annoy neighbors. I had got an ameraucana rooster from someone who tried the collar and couldn't keep him

Well BigUms found his voice today about 15 min. ago he's not very loud maybe my next-door neighbor won't notice LOL. I'll take them over some eggs. If any of you up this way need a cockerel he's gonna be a good roo I think.

Nice looking cockerel! Good luck with whichever way it goes.

Mine started crowing late this morning, I think it was around 5AM. Before long I think I'll be able to sleep right through his wakeup calls.

Darn it is cool out still in white socks.
I have some light wool I wear in winter.
Nope Moose can wake me but not the birds.
There is a scab on my right hand where it was shut in the door.
