Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

How did the MRI come out?
Separated rotator cuff and separated bicep tendon, but they're both old injuries I had from before my fall and was unaware of. The physical therapist seems to think I'll regain full or close to full function of my shoulder in time.

Bit of bad news, but great to hear you have a good PT. Hope you're well soon.

Wow big hope there from me also.

Well, back from the whirlwind 3 day trip to San Diego for grandson's wedding. We are exhausted. These young people do plan a lot of activity in a short time span to get to the wedding. Then the ceremony lasts a few minutes and, Viola! done. Then the reception. Oh my, we left at 9ish, but I hear it went on until very late. Young people have energy. We couldn't take the loud music and flashing lights any longer.

I was so impressed with the millennials in this group. Ambitious, hard working and oh-so polite!!! Treated us old folks with such respect and kindness. Gave me much hope for the future. I only hear stories of ne-er-do-wells. Not so folks. There are some really great young adults out there!

Been taking it easy today, Sun is out 67 temp just now, do need to clean the coop.
Had started a fire early if is down to coals now.
Even had heat in 2 rooms on both off now.
May shut the last window in the coop open.
Does not blow on them but they have ventilation that is always open.

I picked all I could find from the bean vines and got 2, maybe 3 pounds. I guess they're mostly "shelly" beans.

https://www.chefsresource.com/what-are-shelly-beans/

1. What is the difference between shelly beans and green beans?

Green beans are immature beans harvested while the pods are still tender and the beans inside are small and underdeveloped. Shelly beans, on the other hand, are mature beans harvested when the pods are full and the beans are plump but not dried. Green beans are typically eaten whole (pod and bean), while only the beans are eaten from shelly beans.
(But I'm eating the pods too.)

I cut them all into 1/2" or shorter pieces and will cook them until tender, probably freezing them in a few small batches to use in soups this winter.
