This is my first time hatching eggs, its day 21 and none of my 7eggs have hatched yet! 2 of the 7eggs have been in incubator for 23days and still no peeping. I am so worried i did something wrong! at day 18before placing them on "lock down" they were all moving. Now no peeping none hatched and i find myself sitting staring at the eggs hoping to see them moving but i dont! i also read that you can hear them peeping? i havent heard them peep im just really worried!!! temp has been perfect 99.5 the whole time and humidity has been at 70 since day 18 please let me know if im doing something wrong or if for some strange reason they could of all died =[ they are fresh eggs from healthy chickens

Thanks

Sometimes they don't hatch on the right day. I just ran a hatch, it started 2 days ago, wasn't supposed to, those two chicks were 2 days early. I now have seven out and 3 more pipped. The last hatch I did several months ago, started hatching on day 22. sometimes there are temp fluctuations, etc. that will put the hatch off and can go either way, early or late. I'd give them some time, and sit on your hands!!

i know how you feel! try going away from them for a couple hours, that's when my first one hatched lol!

Yeah, it's crazy how much worry goes in to being a parent

Mine are due to start hatching tomorrow but have been hatching since Monday! I'm pretty sure my incubator was too big and the eggs weren't always the same temp. Poor circulation. I guess it's not that big a deal besides the fact that I'll have chicks that are a week apart in age from the same hatch!

Good luck, I'm sure they'll be fine!

I'm on day 19 & I'm already back & forth checking. Guess , we all start to panic. Its like being at the hospital pacing back & forth smoking one cigarette after another waiting for your first son or daughter to be born.
