Day 21 on our first hatch, no chicks so far

Did you candle them? Maybe the rooster wasn't in the mood...

It has been 12 hours since first hatch. Can hear faint peeps .

I will not stare all night. I will not stare all night. I will not stare all night .

We've got another pipper!! 17 hours after the first and only hatch. We started with 12. Is this normal how spaced out the hatches are ?
In my experience, not usually... They were all put in the incubator at the same time? Maybe your temps were a little low. That would delay hatching.

Is your incubator a still air, or does it have a fan?

They shipped eggs. I let them set and put them in the bator all at the same time. I was going off the meat thermometer that I out inside . It was often 99.0 although I would get it back to 99.5. Day 23 and not much more happening. How could conditions be right for 2 to hatch and not the other 10, or atleast a few more?

Could be the rest weren't strong enough to survive, or it could be the shipped eggs were damaged, or who knows what else? I've never hatched shipped eggs, but it seems they don't have the best hatching rates from what I've read.

The reason I asked if your incubator had a fan or not is, if it didn't have a fan, the recommended temperature should be closer to 101 than 99 or 99.5
