I have the Brinsea Eco 20 and tried to follow all the instructions. The temp said 99.5 throughout the incubating (other than 1 hour where we lost power on day 18), and I am feeling sad that none of the eggs are hatching. There is only 1 tiny pip that happened in the night with a cochin bantam egg, but nothing going on with the other eggs. I candled them several times earlier, and the eggs are dark other than the air sac at the top. I haven't opened the incubator since day 18, and added more water like I was supposed to, etc. Is it possible the eggs will still hatch? I haven't seen them shake or move at all like some people describe, and no sounds. Thanks!

Eggs don't always noticeably move before they pip. Be patient, hatching is not an exact science. Some take longer than others.

Thanks!! Now I hear a tiny peeping sound. I'm so excited!

Now there are 2 eggs with a tiny pip, and peeping! They are both black cochin bantam eggs. So far nothing from the black australorp eggs or the partridge cochin bantams, but I'll update as I see anything!

Now it is day 22 (as of 6pm) and one baby hatched at 8pm. It is a black cochin bantam and so tiny and cute! There are 4 others that now have a pip also (1 black cochin bantam, 1 partridge cochin bantam, and 2 australorp), and one of the eggs was wiggling a little bit. It's exciting that one of the pipped eggs is one that had a crack about 7 days ago. I almost threw it out but decided I might as well leave it just in case! It is pretty wild to go from thinking none would hatch, to now the possibility of at least 5 babies hatching. I thought they were supposed to hatch on or before day 21 so I guess I was just worried for nothing. Maybe the temperature is just a tiny bit low in my incubator, even though it said 99.5. I know thermometers aren't all that accurate so I'll just raise it 1/2 degree next time I guess and try at 100, since we have more eggs arriving tomorrow in the mail for a 2nd batch (including some turkeys this time). Thanks!!

Day 22, 6 hrs: The 2nd baby just hatched! I'm trying to figure out how to do a youtube video of it, so I'll post if I figure it out. My sister is here so she said she'll help me do it tomorrow. It's a partridge cochin bantam.
