Well if you were closer I would say come get some fertile eggs. My hatch is done. I started out with 13. Each egg was dipped into a bowl filled with peroxide to disinfect before they went into the bator, 12 made it to lock down. One egg did not develop. 1 egg hatched day 20, day 21 I had 7 more hatch, day 24 1 more hatched. I candled the remaining eggs and there was no longer life in them. So out of 13, I have 9 chicks. I started with a humidity at between 40 and 45, then lock down I brought it up to between 60 and 65. The temp fluctuated between 99.3 and 100.6. One day it shot to 104 and I went into a panic. This was before lock down and I had no clue how long it had been that temp but I had a hard time getting it regulated. I candled all the eggs right before lock down and all were viable. I am using a little giant 9300 still air which is Styrofoam, so I poked more holes down the bottom and rigged up a tube so I could fill water bins without opening the bator. I had a sponge inside right under a hole that was already in the bator and I shoved a small funnel into the hole and used a tennis ball as its lid. I could easily pour warm water to bring up humidity or lower it at will. This helped immensely with my humidity issue. I will bury the eggs that did not make it ( I know, I am weird like that ). I am now waiting for this last chick to dry so the baby can go out with the others. Then I will clean and sanitize the bator and start another batch.
Still no movement. So i decided to try to assist. I could def tell they were dead. So i ended up opening the eggs all the way. They had not observed their yolk sacks at all.
