so i have 2 eggs left to hopefully hatch and i am not sure if they are still alive. I candled and this is what i see can anyone help?

I think theres something in there. Sometimes it takes a bit more than 22 days for them to hatch. My chicks last year took 25 days to hatch

I’m just worried because the second i don’t see veins at all and the first has that red blood looking spot. So i don’t know

I think theres something in the first one for sure. Where did you get them?

From Meyer hatchery. The other 6 have all hatched and are doing great. But these 2 were moving up until day 20 and I’m not sure if they still are. All the other chicks were rolling the other eggs around like crazy.

The outside of the egg looks like this now and is this a blood ring?

:welcome :frow They may be quitters, but I would leave them in for a few more days. I usually mark my eggs (X) that may be quitters. A couple of times I was fooled. Here is one I thought was a quitter.

That’s awesome. These are our last 2 eggs our other eggs are hatched. I know i seen movement at 20 days but now nothing. Crossing my fingers

Sometimes just prior to hatching you may not see any movement. They have resting periods.

Ok thank you. It’s been hard to tell with the other chicks moving the eggs all around
