Day 22 and still nothing. What do I do?

Thank you and of course! I’m hoping things will start to speed up. I think their just taking a little longer because the temperature got too low one night early into incubation.
Hi, did your chicks hatch? I know it’s been like 3 months but I’m just really invested in your story since I am currently going through the same.

They did hatch! The first hatched on day 23, most of them hatched on day 24, and the last hatched on day 25. I determined that the late hatch was mostly likely due to the temperature getting too low at some point while my hen was incubating them. My advice is to be patient (even though it’s super hard!) and if your really worried candle an egg or two to check for an internal pip.

Ok thank you so much! I’m currently on day 22 but I’m too scared to open the incubator to candle them. I’ll just wait patiently till day 26

I think I previously posted this. If the temperature ran a little low the chicks could take a couple of extra days before hatching and if it ran a little high they can hatch a couple of days early. I've have chicks hatch on day 19 and others on day 25. That was years ago. I had a wafer thermostat in my incubator which fluctuated quite a bit. Since I did replace it with a electronic one. Maybe your thermometer is off a little. Have you calibrated it?
