Day 22 bantam eggs. What to do???

Ps when I used my brothers homemade incubator which he had tremendous success in years ago mine never made it. I went out and bought two new incubators since I couldn't make up my mind based on reviews which was better. I bought genesis 1588 which I've had issues regulating...not happy and may sell and the brinsea mini advance which I love! Very simple to use. Only holds seven eggs but hey I'm not running a chicken factory here. So homemade incubators I'm sure are great but I had issues keeping humidity and temp stable so if that's the case theres your answer. Invest a little and get positive results! I promise the mini advance is awesome! I talked to breeders who swore by them and they had the machines that could hatch up to 500 eggs and still used the minis as well.
I am not spending any more. I only want a few really, and this has become expensive enough so far.
This is so exciting i have a few eggs myself. It's so hard to keep hands off
Good luck with your hatch dolfi!

I'll tell ypu what to do. Open the incubator and peck on the eggs with your finger. In the wild hens will peck on there eggs to signal them to come out. When you peck on the eggs they will start chirping. I did this with my chicks because they were late and I pecked on the eggs, they started chirping and and they hatched out late that evening. It always works.

Day 24, and still nothing. No smells either, so I am leaving them in there.

it must be so hard waiting. my first attempts were with shipped eggs. i got 1 out of 12. the second time i drove to fetch them from the ebay seller. 12012 were fertile at day 18. 11/12 hatched.

i think the postal service is hard on eggs. i still think spilling the water had little to do with the outcome. it is getting on now though sometimes people have late hatchers. did you hear anything when you tapped the eggs?

I didn`t hear a thing. I honestly BELIEVE a couple will hatch. They are still alive, well, at least 7 are, and the air cell has grown loads since I last looked.

I am beyond excited. One of the chicks has internally pipped. I am shaking! We can hear it scratching against the shell. Chickenliver, your advice has worked. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you
