Hi Everyone.

One of my two broody pullets is sitting on 3 eggs. Today is day 22 with no hatching. I candled the eggs. I didn't see any movement and I didn't see blood rings neither. The eggs are full apart from the air sac. No sign of alive chicks and no sign of dead chicks too.
What should I do? Should I wait another two days? Or floating test?

Any help?

Here is another thread. Maybe hang in there a little longer: Here might be some thoughts and advice on temp and humidity things you can check to make sure ok on. https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/day-22-no-hatch.653695/

Have you candled the eggs at all and were they ok at the time? In the article it states not to bother them at hatch unless go rotten. Make sure hen is eating/drinking. May have to just wait and see.

Thank you so much for the link. The problem is that I am not sure what to do.

Just check on her to make sure she hasn’t kicked the eggs out, abandoned the nest, or let the eggs go rotten ( bad smell). Don’t touch the eggs if ok as they need to stay under her for temp and humidity and she will definitely be fine. Just keep watching for hatchlings, make sure the little ones get hatched out ok. It is still possible they might be ok if she is still sitting on them. Check out the article on broody hen I sent during incubation and hatch. Just monitor. Report changes.

Yes, I candled them in day 17, they looked fine.
