At day 18-21, you want the humidity higher. And because eggs are hatching, it will drive up the humidity as well.

Humidity is holding steady at 67%. Is that ok? First one still hasn't hatched. Pipped on the side and at the big end. I hear him peeping but doesn't want to come out! Now another one has pipped so...we wait...and wait...

I think that is fine. Some people prefer 70 but I usually push for between 65 and 70 so for me that sounds good!!!

Well, hopefully it won't be long now! Woke up this morning to 9 pips! One is already starting to zip and the little one who pipped on day 19 is still hanging in there. Pipped low but is now making significant progress.

...drumroll please...

We have one beautiful baby out!!!!!!! It scared me to do it, but I did have to go in there and move an egg out of the way so it could pop out of the shell, but all is well!!

Fortunately I had seen on another post about wrapping plastic around so you could reach in there without losing humidity and it worked!!!

Here's #2 - no wonder it took so long - it was breech. Wings are stuck in the egg. Do I help it or will it get out ok?
