Thank you! And yeah our humidity was higher then we would have liked in the beginning (first week), week 2 everything started getting to temp and humidity and has been great since. Last 3 days the humidity climbed to 68-70% but I was told it was the chicks trying to hatch. Not touching the incubator anymore since candling, that is for sure. Thank you for your help!

But now we have a different situation!!! I think the other egg pipped at the wrong end. I haven’t touched the egg but the chick that hatched was in the incubator over night and this morning our other egg looked like the picture I posted.

It looks like maybe the yolk didn’t get fully absorbed? Or is that little chick poop from the already hatched baby?

It’s looks to be yolk from the egg. You can see baby inside, was told to candle for movement and there is nothing :( my other 4 eggs have movement and some internal pipping. But here we are at day 25 and no external pipping. They were candled yesterday because I was told the could be dead to check before I continue to try. The only one that doesn’t seem to have “made it” was this cracked egg. Not sure if the hatched chick hit the egg up against the temperature probe or hit it against another egg but sadly I don’t think it’s alive anymore.
