Day 23 chicken lockdown

Hi all!! I' on day 23, lockdown day 20. I don' see any pipping. Heat looks good, humidity a lil low so added water.
I'm really wanting to candle. Advice?

Chickens or ducks? Chickens take 21 days so something may be off. What temp were you incubating at? They are already two days late so I'm thinking your temperatures were too low or they're already quit.

Heat was 100, humidity was 40%
Do you think I should candle them??

I was a DAY late for lock down. Heat 100, humidity 40%.
I've seen some hatch as late as 27 days....
I'm baffled

For chicken eggs lock down is day 18. and the humidity during lock down should be 65%-75%. The fact that you are on day 23 sounds like they didn't make it sorry

Yes, you can candle if you want. How were you monitoring temperature? Is it a still air or forced air incubator?

So I candled...one actually pipped.
Looks like shrink wrapped. Humidity too low!!
One other internal pipped,
Another still moving
I'm pretty sure I lost the others

40% should have been fine for incubation. I incubate dry so often lower than that. Are you using a calibrated thermometer for your temps? If you're having so many late hatches I think your temperatures are too low.
