Day 23 now. Cracked egg from under broody hen. What to do? Advice appreciated.

Well, the eggs under our broody are hatching today. Here's the first one who popped her little head out. I think she looks like a half orpington half australorp.

No change in the cracked egg, however. I haven't even noticed her rocking since yesterday afternoon.

I have no advice but this is like watching a soap opera. What's going to happen? Will the chick be OK? I'm on tenterhooks here!!!

I've reapplied the Polysporin, rewet the paper towel, and wrapped the paper towel loosely in the saran wrap. Then I poked a few more holes in the saran and set that in the bottom of the bowl in the incubator. Still no peeps or pips.
Out in the coop, under the broody, we've got three chicks now. Yay! at least for that.

Don't feel too bad if it doesn't work out. You've done everything so far with compassion and optimism and best practises.

There's still two under the broody pipping and peeping properly. But one egg, that we'd noticed a large pip on yesterday was still struggling. I took a closer look and noticed her membranes were drying out, so she's in the incubator now too. Apparently she's pipped on the wrong end. WAY below where I'd marked the air cell last week.
I put a dab of water on her membranes. And I removed some of the shell for her. All the membranes under the removed shell were very brown. She's still hollering and struggling. I am not sure what shrink wrapping looks like, but maybe that's happening too?
