Everything else has hatched although late. I had one hatch last night. These are still there. I've never hatched before. Is it time to just take them out? Thanks!

I think so too but my DH is absolutely determined to take them out. One in particular is pipped on a few sides but I don't hear anything in there or see it moving. We'll probably wait until tomorrow I guess.

I had some hatch on day 26. I had a storm front come through right befor lock down. several other people I talked to had a similar experience. if a storm front come sthrough it seams to delay the hatch a day or so. Not sure if it is real but I now think that there is something to it. Barometric pressure or something I think. Just a thought!

Good luck and God Bless!

Thanks! This is my first time with this bator (RCom Suro) and someone posted that he thinks the temp/humidity might register low because his were hatching late too. Mine all hatched day 22 and beyond. Had 12 eggs and have had 9 hatch so far. I guess I need to figure out how to calibrate it after this hatch is done. I think DH just wants to do a science experiment on my eggs!

If its pipped I would ...and I know I shouldn't.... BUt I would take it out and try to see if he is still breathing. If I do this I take the bator into a steam filled bathroom with a heater running. VERY hot and Humid. The sweat was pouring off of me. LOL But I still had a good hatch! and There was Life. I even helped a lil bit. I know I know Bad daddy!!! I couldn't just sit there and let him die! He/she Is doing great now. can't even tell them apart any more. lol

Good Luck and God Bless!

Hmmm... I can see fur through the pip so I know there's a chick in there. That's the only one I think is viable. One I can't really tell if it's a pip or just a mark and the other was fully zipped and got dripped on by the bator and I think it died. Thanks for the tip!

My husband opened two up and both chicks were dead. One never developed. Oh, well. At least the bator is clean and put away and we know. Still, we had a good hatch I think. Started out with 16 shipped eggs and ended up with 9 chicks. I'm happy!

On what day did the first ones hatch? And the last ones? How much time from the start of hatch to the finish? I'm having a later than normal hatch and getting worried.

My first one hatched last Thursday and the last one was last night. It took awhile for some reason. Good luck!
