I think your temps are too low. Do not use the shell temp to calibrate your incubator. Raed this:

Yes I have read this a few times even have it printed out. My eggs where 2 hot and cooked the first silkie and since I have been using the shell temp I have had 2 hatch and one popping now.

And I am not using shell temp for the incubator I'm using it to incubate them I am not looking at the incubator temp just the eggs and it is working.

I have 3 baby's and 3 more in Hatcher now doing great. The shell temp incubation is great.

The temp that everyone thought was low was way to high the temp now shows 96 and it has been perfect. They are hatching on time and all by them selfs. I really appropriate everyone's comments

I still think your temps the first 2 weeks were too low because if they had been too high they would have started hatching on day 19 or 21, not 23 or 24.

Anyway, glad they are hatching for you. Maybe you could get better thermometers for next time? I think this one might be good?

No they where to high and cooked the chick theses are diffrent silkie eggs the Bator for incubation has not changed temp the one for hatching has been changed and they are hatching day 20.
