Thank you I went and got a laser one to do egg shell temp incubation

It coast me almost 500 for it but is great for the type of incubation i am doing.

No they where to high and cooked the chick theses are diffrent silkie eggs the Bator for incubation has not changed temp the one for hatching has been changed and they are hatching day 20.

If they are hatching on day 20 then you're probably right about the temp being too high.

I have one of those, too, but I have found it to be less accurate than the Braun. Please do invest in a proper thermometer and just use the shell temp as a guide.

Anyway, glad they are hatching for you. Maybe you could get better thermometers for next time? I think this one might be good?

Nice accuracy tolerance..... small range tho.
Perfect for incubation but still.
Small range might make for tighter tolerance.
