Day 24 on call duck eggs - 2 whites making progress (1:41am)

Alrighty, all eggs are out of the cartons, took the time to candle again eveyone looks good. Misted and walked away. How often is best to check them going into hatch? I have read a ton on how they often need help/are lazy slow hatchers.

Well the entire collection is still chugging along. During tonights candling I saw two that look to have internally pipped, one fore as it was rapping on the inside of the shell.

You are so very right, and I do also, I use to not and listen to all the so call WISDOM HATCHERS, (laughing) but after dumping out 4 incubators full, NEVER again, I will take my chance hand hatching to help them, GREAT ADVICE!!

I have several different colors(Snowy, Pencil, Black, White and Blue Fawn Pied) set.
On day 24, check to make sure they are rockin' and rollin' in there and trying to break the air cell.
Poor little tiny Calls are such LAZY hatchers that a lot of times, you have to assist them out of the shell-I know MANY people will tell you never to help, but I disagree 1000% when it comes to Call ducklings.

Thanks Linda, I am really hoping to get a 100% hatch even if it little to no sleep. How is baby season going for you? Cant wait to see the mandarins.
