Day ~25, no hatch??? Very worried

Really? But they were shipped in Florida, and it must have been over 40c when they were in that box!

OKAY.Here are some photos. No pipping at all. Can't see any more movement. Temps seem to have been OK the whole time. Can't see veins in these pics, but I think there still are some

EGG 1: (has a very strangely shaped air sac. Almost like the figure 8

EGG 2: (You can clearly see this chick in this one)

EGG 3: (Hard to see anything, but the air sac is perfectly oval, and very visible)
You don't start counting until they are set. While you may see sporadic development over 80F you are not at incubation temps until you have consistant 99-101F
Saddle shaped cells are common in shipped eggs, which is probably what you are describing with figure 8.
The second pic you can see the chick well, but the air cell looks quite small for hatch and shows no signs of being drawn down. Last pic air cell looks a little bigger, still not what I'd want to see at hatch time and again, there is no draw down.

How can I increase humidity? Spritzing them with water?
Adding water, adding a cloth/sponge, spritzing the inside of the bator.... anything that gives you a higher amount of wet surface area.

What do you mean by the air sac being drawn down? Does that mean they won't hatch? Is there anything I can do?
Before they hatch the air cell"draws" down on one side, the side that the air cell tilts too. At this point there is nothing you can do. You could run dry until you get a pip if one were to pip, But if your temps were accurate I'd sooner think the problem is humidiity and the eggs did not loose enough moisture, going by the size of the air cells in the picture. It's hard to tell from pics cause it just shows one side.

You're right. I looked at some reference pics, and it's not even close. I still have a bunch of fluid in mine. Should I decrease the humidity? I can tell that at least 1 of the eggs are alive, because I just noticed one has very visible veins. They're still thin, but visible. No blood rings.

You can run dry until there's a pip, but the further you get from day 21, the more the chances of healthy hatchers decreases.

If the air cells look like they didn't draw down. Don't put any water in the bator until you get your first pip.

Then raise humidity.

Gives eggs a chance to lose moisture so chick won't drown when he does the internal pip.

Those look like fairly light colored eggs. If you candle and watch closely you should be able to see some movement.

I give til about day 24. Candle and if no movement I'll toss them.

Good luck

I think it's already day 24 :( I put them in on the 1st. (They shipped out to me on the 27th) although, I did open the bator a few times... So temps weren't perfect.

So for future reference, veins don't mean anything? There could be veins, and the chick could be dead?

I do more turkeys than chickens.

But I had a few that had good movement before lockdown and passed before hatching.

Could still see chick.

Have you candled lately to look for movement. When you candle slowly rotate egg. Most often chick will move some.

If temp were a little low I might be inclined to give them an extra day or 2.

If the chick died you could still see veins. Until they breakdown.
