You don't start counting until they are set. While you may see sporadic development over 80F you are not at incubation temps until you have consistant 99-101FReally? But they were shipped in Florida, and it must have been over 40c when they were in that box!
OKAY.Here are some photos. No pipping at all. Can't see any more movement. Temps seem to have been OK the whole time. Can't see veins in these pics, but I think there still are some

Saddle shaped cells are common in shipped eggs, which is probably what you are describing with figure 8.
The second pic you can see the chick well, but the air cell looks quite small for hatch and shows no signs of being drawn down. Last pic air cell looks a little bigger, still not what I'd want to see at hatch time and again, there is no draw down.
