I hatch in a hova bator 1620n with an auto tuner. I've hatched out the last 4 years in this without any issues. but this year I'm having a problem keeping the humidity above 58. I have all the channels filled plus 3 sponges in there. I'm supposed to lock down today but how am I going to keep the humidity up to 65 if I have to add water 2x a day. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem!

I tried dishes of water, sponges with water and cloths with water. My eggs hatched without a problem, I think because I would slightly moisten paper towels and lay them over the eggs to keep them moist.

Best of luck!

I'm gonna wet paper towels too hopefully that will help. I'm starting to get worried I'm not hearing them. I'll take the turner out tonight and lock them down. They were moving yet on day 21.

I got the humidity up to 73%. They are hatching. I have 1 out and 4 more started. 24 eggs total. Started out with 28. I handled before I locked down and 4 weren't fertilized.
