Day 28, no internal pips yet? Ducks

Im not sure if I should help this last guy, it seems like he's stuck in there . I can see his yolk is not absorbed but he is stuck like the sides are glued to him? Is he shrink wrapping?

Don't try to help him out until the yolk is absorbed. Once the yolk is absorbed, if he is still having issues, you can help him at that point.

He got out and I could see the yolk still and little bit of blood. I got him wrapped him in a towel and he's propped in the incubator. Will he make it past this??:fl

I'm sorry everyone for blowing up this thread but this is my first incubation and I don't know who else to ask for advice.

First thing to learn when incubating, patience is the key some will hatch some will not but with patience its much less stressful and the chicke and ducks probably enjoy the peace of not having someone trying to peek in on them 24/7 (I'm guilty of doing that:fl) congrats on the babies!

Thank you. I do need to be more patient. Just was starting to worry as today is now 32 so a lot of them were a few days late. Hopefully the other duck makes it past this. Won't be so worried/anxious next time around!!

It's exciting and amazing to hatch your own baby eggs it's incredibly hard to be patient

It was! It was an amazing experience! Kind of like I was waiting for the birth of my own child or something lolol
That's exactly what I said :yesss: in fact I also think I told my husband if I had known hatching eggs was like having a baby then maybe I would of just hatched eggs. LOLOL

Hey, it's your thread, post as much as you want!!
I understand the anxiety. Not sure what to suggest for the last one, sometimes they don't make it and sometimes beyond all reason they pull thru.

hatching eggs was like having a baby
