DAY 28 of Goose Eggs - SOMEONE put my mind at rest PLEASE!

Its day 28 and none of my 3 goslings have broken into the air cell yet. 2 were still trying as of last night. And those same 2 were trying the night before too. Are they right on schedule? I thought they all would at least be in the air cell by now. Can anyone tell me how long they can take to break into the air cell, and then how long they can take once in the air cell to start pipping, then how long they take to hatch? In other words, how long does each stage of hatching normally last? Thanks!

It's my birthday today and i was hoping to at least here a peep out of them!!!

goose eggs can take up to 30 days easy. i have only done one set so far, but have read from several sources that anywhere 28-30 days is normal.

mine busted out rather quickly. make sure your humidity is good and leave them be.

Im on day 30, and I was uneasy so I wanted to take the egg out and put it to my ear real quick just to make sure its atleast attempting to break free and I could feel it tapping! I didnt have to put it to my ear. It was cool LOL

my geese took and entire week of trying to get to the air cell AFTER they hit day 35...they seriously took FOREVER...but were so worth it!

They are pilgrims...I am currently incibating more pilgrims and some mixed goose eggs, too.

hooray for geese! but tdont they just FORCE patience on you? lol

Sebs seem to run the full gamete from early to very late-they will give you ulcers. I wish I could give advice, but I haven't had any consistency hatching
in the incubator. I am letting one batch hatch under the goose every year, they do better than I do! The prob with that is taking away the babies if you want to sell them-that's hard.

They all appear to be in the air cell now, all pecking away, and one has pipped!! YAY!!

HOWEVER>>> the one that has pipped has started pecking on the other side of the egg!!! Is this ok or normal?? Is he confused? Anyone have this happen before?
