That's how I see it. As awful as it sounds, any attempt to "help" at this point has the chance of taking away any hope he has if there is a problem or not. I just know, it takes so long even after they externally pip for nature to be ready to let them hatch, that the chances of doing more than providing a pip hole for an internally pipped chick/bird isn't going to help. (And that's something I wouldn't even do until they had been internally pipped for 24 hours.) It's frustrating to sit by and do nothing and take the chance on nature, but sometimes, that's all we have. I hope he does pull it off though and you see some positive advances soon.Thank you so much Amy, I guess I'm figuring if I try to assist at this point, he won't have a chance, if I just let leave him be he at least has a chance of surviving. I will definitely keep updating though! Thank you for all your support. Oh and homeschool moms rockI homeschool my children as well haha.![]()
LOL Love homeschooling. We do most of our school day in the afternoon/evening because we are not so motivated in the mornings. It's great to have that flexibility and to be able to work around life and work to his ability and strengths. It has it's moments, I won't lie....lol But I can't imagine having him in the public school system right now. Of course homeschooling in NY with all it's paperwork and restrictions/required material can be a pain, but I figure if we can homeschool here, we can homeschool anywhere if we ever decide to get out of this state...lol
