Thank you, we actually doubled checked it with another, but then between the 2, I don't think they cost $10 so they may be very unreliable...We'll invest in a better one for the next...

Looks like she's still absorbing the yolk and her belly distension has gone down some...She kicks and cries so we believe she'll make it...

I've gotten the best temperature readings from a water wiggler and digital thermometer.

Hi, I just had a hatch of ducks and they took like 31-32 days. let them be. I was worried too and I ended up losing one because of thinking they should have come out already. I ended up with one.

Sorry that happened. What a horrible experience. I will watch to see what you do about a thermometer. i've got two cheap ones that read 6 degrees F apart. i'm thinking a human bulb thermometer will be the way we go next time (anyone with any thoughts on this, please "PM" me). probably hot glue it near the "sight glass."

The next go-round will be much better.
