Yes, lowering the temperature 1° is a new thing that people do. I really don’t think it matters one way or another.
I obviously don’t know why the delayed hatch, but it just happens. More in an incubator than nature of course.

There is. I had one hatch a full week after that 31 even, though thats incredibly late even for ducks.

Like the khaki and pekin?? Mine have all taken the full 31 except the two that were late.

I've heard of them hatching later as well, but yes 28 days give or take is normal unless you are hatching muscovies. They take 35 give or take.

Different things, and different people say different things I guess.
Either way, if the op, were me, id give them more time.
