I have 16 viable guinea eggs that are on day 31 and no signs of hatching. I candled them on day 24 and could see movement. I candled them this morning and can only see the air sac and dark blobs. I sacrificed 2 eggs and both keets were alive but not all of the yolk was absorbed. I hear nothing when I tap on the egg. How long do I wait for them to hatch?

If I have to open a past due egg, I open it like I am doing an assisted hatching. So I make a hole through the aircell and then start removing shell downward and look for the beak. That way, you may be able to save them if still alive.
