Honestly hard to tell what’s going on in the photo. Is it eating and drinking and acting normally? Is it pooping? I would not cut this off I would just leave it alone and it should dry up on its own and fall off.My chick is at day 4/5 and still hasn't lost his umbilical cord.i feel like it's in pain can I help it in any way

What makes you think that it is I bought some Electrolyte packets from tractor supply.its called Sav a chick. I haven't seen it eat or drink. But that doesn't mean it hasn't had something. It's a banty chick so it's super tiny.. I feel like it's crying non stop.. I know chickens don't cry tears but it doesn't stop peeping the only way it stops peeping is if I put it in my cami shirt with a built-in bra.. I'm sry for saying but it's chirps non stop until I put it there
I'm sry I got sode tracked I assumed it's are or drank but not 100% so that's why I been giving it the electrolytes to helpHonestly hard to tell what’s going on in the photo. Yes it's with other chicks.i have honestly tried everything I can think ofIs it the only chick? Do you have others with it? Has it been walking around normally? Does it have its eyes open? See if you can observe/encourage it to eat and drink. You didn’t mention anything about electrolytes in your first post. Are you using Nutradrench? Save a chick?
Or the chick forum@casportpony can you move this over to the emergencies forum?![]()
