I'm new at this too and getting ready for my first self hatch...but from what I've been reading you should wait until day 7 with brown eggs because it's too hard to see until then.

I'd wait til at least day 10 since they are brown eggs. I had a really hard time seeing in mine. I know it's hard to wait, I try hard not to look in mine, doesn't always work

I had an egg that seems as though it had bubbles or something floating around. What on earth would that be?

I just recandled one egg.
it has a dark spot and then a darker small spot with red vains.
i am pleased.I'm looking forward to monday (day 10). I'm really trying hard not to candle every day. but i really want to get a picture of the formations for my blog but my camera won't focus.
I'm thinking about using my camera on my phone but not sure how well that will do. My SLR camera won't work neither will my Nikon Coolpix s6000.

my eggs are brown too so i'll probably have to wait till day 10 to REALLY see something too but i can tell there are small red vains... no circles. I thought there was a circle but it's not a circle. I am sooo pleased
