Well I candled them all today with my girls. Looking for the good and the bad ones. I could only find 3 that were bad for sure. Ill post those pictures. 11 of them I wasnt sure about... I could see veining in all of the 11 but I could not see any embryos moving around. a few looked like they may of had blood rings starting... we weren't sure yet so we put them back. 16 of them were definitely mobile in their eggs. We could see them moving around pretty good.

These were all shipped eggs so so far so good I guess.
I got 9 Buff Orps on their 9th day, all of them I saw embryos...every single one. I thought that was pretty good!

I have 12 barred rocks on the 8th day. 5 have embryos moving. One was definitely bad.(picture below) I could see the ring and the embryo lifelessly moving around as i moved the egg. It was also clearer then the rest with no veins.
6 of them had questions because I could see veins but no embryos yet. Not sure what to do there.......

Also I have 9 frizzle easter eggers on their 9th day. The eggs seem alot harder to see through. 2 were bad. (pictured below) The blood rings were very bold. (pictured below) So far I only have 2 that I could see movement in. The other 5 are question marks. I could see veining.... but once again wasn't really sure what to do here.

Let me know what you think of the pictures and my results so far.
the Barred rocks shipped seperate a day late so they got started a day later. The EE and BO were shipped together. I am amazed that all the BO have embroys moving around and yet the EE seem to be having a harder time. Are BO more robust?

I'm studying them, studying them--pretty new to candling though so I'm just going to sponge up whatever knowledge I can from anyone who posts--ESPECIALLY if they post PICTURES!

your right the last two look like bloodrings to me
then again i just posted my own on having a hard time identifying good and bad eggs myself

As a matter of fact I wasnt sure what to do with them.... so i put them in a heavy zip-loc bag and put them in the freezer. I figured I would throw them in the hole when I plant a couple bushes or something. Good fertilizer.

Well all but 3 of my question marks I now know. The only ones I don't know are 3 EEs. They are really hard to see in.... however the 2 that were bad yesterday they were easy to see the bad EEs.

7 of them I saw embryos moving. and 1 more was bad. Another Barred Rock here are the pics. 2 pictures of the same egg.

Still have 26 out of 30 at day 10!
