Today is day 8 and I candled, unfortunantly two look dead

, I left them in though just in case, the second batch will probably go in tonight

I'm sorry for your dead ones, but how cool that you are able to set your own homegrown eggs! I can't wait until I have some home-lain Serama eggs of my own to 'bate.

lol, my little serama hen is trying to be broody now im doing all i can to discourage her cuase shes much too young and i ont want her trying to raise chicks in november, and i want more eggs from her lol.
and i just set the second batch, there are six in that batch

okay, so im going to let the little serama sit on the six new eggs, and then i still have my 5 eggs in the bator (which only 3 look good)
