Day light savings Rant

I am in the "What dumb idea" group. The time is what the time is. Fiddling with it is not going to change much of anything. Set the time to the atomic clock in Denver and then leave it alone. Every year I feel like somebody has stole an hour of my life away. I do like getting it back, but not loosing it in the first place would be better.

We should start a grassroots movement and boycott it this winter when we are suppose to change them back. Just refuse. Who says we HAVE to do it anyway? What are the going to do? Fine us?

I was talking to a friend about it - how it was originally intended to save energy or money. But it doesn't. My take? "Well, it was made up by a politician, so what do you expect?"

I despise the time change. It is such a pain to get the kids down at a different time and forget getting up in the morning. Then in the middle of summer it won't get dark until 9:30!! It took me taking the 2 yr old back to bed at least a doz. times tonight. Think he finally went to sleep at what would have been his normal time.

AHHH my internal clock can not beleive what my external clock is saying. I just started to feel tired and though it must be bedtime and looked at the clock and it is an hour past. Uhg now I gotta get up in the morning when I'm still tired.

Personally, I love that it stays light out later. I works nights, but prefer not driving at night (does that make sense?). Having it stay light out longer gives me the extra daylight to run errands, or get stuff done outside. I sleep most days til about 2pm, so the darkness in the morning has no bearing on me.

the time change messes with my head and makes my body tired. i agree lets just get it set one way or the other or half way between and leave it alone.
