Day old chick with a closed eye?

I have a day old chick and her right eye is closed - ive washed it a little with warm water and she does open it but after a sleep it seems stuck together again.
Could another chick be pecking at it?

Is there any gunk around it? Can you get a picture of it?

notseen any gunk around it but its almost like its stuck together - even when i bathe it she chooses not to open it like its sore
she will open it a bit and then shut it again : best picture i could get :

looking better today both eyes are open so im gonna just see how things go before i worry
