Tendon issues are very painful, with my boy i was initially treating him for a sprain, then when after a couple of days with no improvement i realized it had to be something else. Soon as i ran my thumbs down back of his leg.i felt it immediately, pressed tendon and felt it snap in. I did do stretching exercises on him,the only thing i did different from what most articles say is i encouraged him to walk,i did not keep him confined all day,my reasons for this are that when confined i felt the tendon would stiffen up,so to prevent this from happening i let him out to walk around inside house at the same time i would several times a day check/press tendon into place. Tendon can be wrapped, but for him i took wrap off and just left him. I was giving him aspirin to control pain, but would not suggest this for a chick.Ten Chicks I'm glad you saw this thread finally--you know more about it than I do.
