Day old chicks wanted (Found) updated!

The chick I have is a week old already, so I need to get more before he gets much older. Any idea when you will be placing your order, or when they will deliver them?

Will you have extras of the other breeds or just Silkies?

We can order specifically for you if you want. We'll probably be placing the order this week, and they'll be hatched the twenty seventh or the third, I think.

The hatchery won't answer their phone, but I'm planning on harassing them until they do so I can get them ASAP.

Deb, I just remembered that another broody is supposed to hatch the 22nd. I'm pretty sure these are EE's. I could give you one or two if they hatch.

I will. I know they're there, their phone was busy earlier.
So, do you think you're in or do you wanna see if you can find companions that'll be closer in age for the little one?

I have success! They said that everything should be available except dominiques, and the sussex pullets are in super-limited quantities. She said five.
She said that we can get in on the twenty seventh, or the third at the latest.

I would really love to have some of the breeds you are ordering, ugh!

But when I really think about it, by the time the hatchery ships the chicks to you and I get there to pick them up, my little chick might be 2-3 weeks old.

Yea, I could, but it does depend on how many hatch. I think she has 5-6 eggs under her. We are taking most of our roos to auction tonight, but I'm not staying. I am also taking two silkie hens.

I called hubby and he told me to wait a couple days til we can check with a few more people. If you place your order and still dont have anyone to take the extras, maybe we can take a ride up there and get them.
