Drops just inside the bill let her swallow after each drop.. It’s going to take a while so put some in the water too that way she’ll have some besides what you’re putting by drops in her mouth.

Thank you, I did that and she’s starting to walk and her foot is straight now!Drops just inside the bill let her swallow after each drop.. It’s going to take a while so put some in the water too that way she’ll have some besides what you’re putting by drops in her mouth.
Amy does she have an egg stuck ?Thank you, I did that and she’s starting to walk and her foot is straight now!
I’m still concerned that she’s alone.
She has a mirror, 2 stuffed animals, a tent to snuggle in, blankets and classical music playing softly.
I just read she can die of loneliness so I’m going to lay down in bed with her until I go to sleep and carry her in a sling as much as possible.
We’ve had so many problems I can’t take anymore.
My Pekin is dying and I don’t know why. She’s 5 months old and is very bonded with my other one.
She suddenly went lame yesterday, can’t walk or stand, is panting and moving her tail (bad sign) she has yellow/green diarrhea as well. Her mate is laying down right with her with her head on the sick ones back.
She’s in a box with a big blanket and my husband is giving her food and water. She’s not eating much.
I’m ready for a breakdown so my husband won’t let me tend to her because I just start to cry. It’s been too much for me.
I’m urging him to take her to the vet first thing in the morning but I don’t think she’ll make it til then.
I’m terrified it’s a disease that will wipe out our whole flock and we need to know what happened!
He’s giving me a hard time about doing so, but I think it’s imperative to find out what happened.
I’m at a loss..![]()

I’m glad she recoveredShe completely recovered!
I believe she was injured in some way and very stressed. Neither one of my Pekins have wanted anything to do with us even though they were hand raised with love and affection.
They are afraid of their own shadows.
It’s quite disheartening.
Anyway, I truly believed she was dying, couldn’t stand at all.
We slept with her box by the bed and bottle feed her water with Nutra Drench and healthy treats and softened food.
She’s now happily swimming in their pool like nothing ever happened.
As soon as she was well, (it took a whole week) the first thing she did was run away.
You’d think she’d know that we love her and would never hurt her, but it’s just not the case.
My husband wants to re-home them, but I don’t agree. We made a commitment to care for them for life, and I intend to fulfill my commitment and responsibility to them.
They are not people, they don’t understand and are not going to thank you for saving them, it’s just something that you have to accept.![]()
