Put the 18 welsummer eggs in on Saturday morning 4/11 at 6am. Found a pc fan when I got home from work Saturday afternoon and installed it with a 9 volt transformer. Wow! I had to turn the thermostat down quite a bit to keep the temps in the 98 - 102 range. Do I need to find a water wiggler (whatever that is) to find out what my internal egg temps are? We have the incubator in the finished part of our basement because the temp there is very steady. I must have gone up and down those stair 100 times this weekend. 21 days is going to seem like forever!

Im still new at this so I dont have any answers but I can definitley relate to checking on them a million times. I have mine in a seperate room and all you hear all day long is me opening and closing the door. !!

Good luck!
