day22-silkies and Araucana *13 out-1 PIP* PIC

I have to say this has to be my best batch so far. I haven't lost any since the day 7 candling and this is my first 100% to get set (silkies from Marie). I have 9 silkies from Marie and 8 Araucana from Jody (hinkjc). I hope I get a good hatch.

btw I have them in the egg cartons, didn't have good luck last time I tried it, so I'm kind of nervous

Good luck! Why didn't you have good luck with the cartons last time? What was the issue.

Is this day 19 now? Oh boy!

I think it was a humidity issue last time and not the cartons per se. But I only had 1 chick from that batch and a couple pip on the bottom and seemed to drown. Even though I don't think the cartons had anything to do with it, I'm still leery

We have a pip! One of the Araucana just pipped. I was starting to think they might wait till day 21 to pip. I will post pics when they hatch

well, we have what looks like a splash araucana. not sure about the rump yet, will get pics tomorrow when the hatch is complete(hopefully). 2 more araucana pipped and 3 silkies pipped.
