Hi! These are daylily seedling plants from my breeding program.
They are one-of-a-kind, field-grown plants.
Most are double fans.

Holy cow, Lisa, those are beautiful!!

Do you know whether chickens and ducks eat them?

Thanks Chel (x 2)! Breeding daylilies is a joy, but requires lots more patience than breeding chickens --- it can take as long as 3 years for a seedling to bloom. Then it might be a 'dog' and get the knife right away.
My chickens and ducks love the foliage and will eat it in a heartbeat --- right down to nubs. Then they'll scratch or dabble and eat the roots, too.

Here are some more that bloomed todayand are for sale. Still $2.00 each plus shipping.

I'm in Maine, how much would shipping be, so I can decide how many I want to get.

I just inherited my mom-in-laws day lilies, ground lilies, iris, hostas, roses, ground phlox, tall phlox, basket of gold and some other stuff I'm not really sure about. Basically 30 years worth of plants! Her knees couldn't take it anymore.

Well, now I'm really into it and want more day lilies! I think 4 more plants to start... at least...

I will e-mail you my info!!!

Hi Corey, I don't think they'd do well inside, unless you had a sunroom or the like to keep them in (but I've never tried growing them inside).

Angie, How lucky for you to get your mil's plants --- but sad that she couldn't tend them anymore.
Shipping shouldn't be much

I should be able to fit quite a few in the smaller flat rate box (unless usps has changed that).
I can probably get them out in tomorrows mail.

Thanks!
Lisa
