A month ago, I suffered from a corneal ulceration caused by my Acuvue Oasys contacts. My family all wear these contacts and we were having problems with them tearing. Sometimes they would tear while we were wearing them, for no reason at all. They were supposed to last 2 weeks, but we were lucky if they last 1 week. These aren't cheap contacts either. My opthamologist told me I couldn't wear them anymore. While searching the web and looking at reviews by other users, I came across DaySoft daily lenses. They're made in the UK. I decided to buy a 2 month supply to try them out. It cost me just shy of $30! That's for both eyes and it includes shipping. I received them a week later. Well, it's been almost a month. It took me about a week to get used to them, but I love them. No washing, no storing and I very rarely use any solution. We decided to switch the kids to them and so far, so good. If everything goes well, I'll buy them a year supply. A 6 month supply is only $89.88. That's less than half what I paid for the Oasys.
With everyone trying to hold onto their pennies, I thought I share this will all of you contact wearers.
