River looked around "I don't like this place" she said, flattening her ears

Risk sniffed the air. “It’s not too bad.” He caught a faint whiff of elk. “You hungry?”

River smelt it too "yes, when we find it, you scare it towards me and I'll kill it" she said as she sped up

"Yes, I suppose so," Eilidh replied with enthusiasm. "Risk and River went--that way, so let's head in the opposite direction." She stood up, shook off her coat, and motioned towards the forest.

“Hmm, no.” Luna said. “Let’s go that way.” She pointed to a different route, one that was near the way Eilidh was pointing. A bit of temper flared within her at the lower ranking wolf giving her a command.
