Lavender let out a small smile. ‘ I’m sorry if I made you think I was mad at you, I’m really sorry.’

"Well then stop apologizing." Zelda smiled, and then glanced up at the sun. She needed to get to her pups. "You eat. I'll be back, just going to check on the pups." She started into the forest. She wasn't looking where she was going, however, and wandered into a settler's territory. A shot rang out through the forest, and Zelda stumbled, then fell

Lavender was picking at the deer when she heard a sound. It sounded distant, but she recognized the sound immediately. She left the deer and raced through the forest, trying to see where it was coming from.

*Zelda continues to lie there*

Lavender finally reached Zelda’s body. She stared in shock at the unconscious body, and she noticed a settler coming near. She grabbed Zelda’s leg and dragged her into the forest where the settler couldn’t get them. ‘ Oh please wake up. I’m so sorry, just get up please.’ She murmured desperately.

Zelda opened her eyes weakly. "The pups..." She murmured weakly

Zelda only managed to nod. Then she slipped back into unconsciousness
