Storm hesitated. Why would all of the deer want to stick together? A thought struck him. Deer stay in herds to protect themselves... if they are all coming together... there must be a really big or terrible predator. Storm's smile dropped. "Uh, Lily...?"

"Why do deer stay in herds?" He asked, but before she could say anything, he answered his own question. "Because they are safer when being hunted by something. So if they are all together in one huge group, wouldn't that mean that there is something really dangerous... that likes to eat them... or something?" Said Storm.

Lily's heart began to pound. "It could be normal predators, like a cougar or something, or could it be, I don't know, hunters?" She gulped

Lily nodded. "Yeah." She scanned the area for a good deer to go for. As she did this, another thought sprang in her head. "What if it's not a predator, what if they're moving to another place soon?"

"... I don't know..." Storm felt butterflies in his stomach. "Then we need to catch as many as we can!"
