This morning I gave my birds some cold oatmeal I made this morning with some plain yogurt and their first DE.........They loved it!!!!
After they had gotten as much out of the pans as they could I coated the pans with some feed and they continue to eat.......
While I was in the coop, I noticed my Partridge Rock in the nesting box.....this is unusual behavior. Plus , she is on the bottom of the pecking order, but acting very vocal and confident......I placed her back in a nesting box and she scratched around then hopped out.
She was looking at me like .........Tell me what to do.
I stayed for awhile, but had to do more chores.
I am hoping for my first egg today............
I will be checking more often today......
It is so humid here in GA, I hate going out during the day......but for an egg......I will!
