I think it was actually a good suggestion by the vet to come here and ask, since most vets know little if anything about rabbits and yours was humble enough to send you to another vet and suggest you seek out rabbit peeps that are likely to deal with a lot of rabbit issues (and probably have rabbit savvy vets that have advised them).
