what do lice look like on a chicken? and how would you know they have them? do they scratch themselves? **newbie here** lol

I use food grade DE On the floors of my coops, in the poop pits, nest boxes and sometimes in their feed. I have had no bug/fly issues. I buy a 50# bag which last quite awhile and put it in a bucket which I have a lid for.
