I had trouble like this when we had our chicken pen out the front, we never let the dog near it and lots of my chickens died from foxes.
But, we moved our coop around the back, where the dog is, and we let our little Malteser go in there every now and again. We haven't had chook taking by a fox for 3or 4 yrs now!

OP, if you did lose birds, I am truly sorry. You got some good advice here.. However, it puts a bad taste in my mouth when I see stolen pics claimed as your own. That then leads me to question whether anything you say is true.
