I think she might of had a laceration on her stomach as I found a rip on her underside. Her nest was in a down brush pile I wonder if she could of did it in there ?.

Farmers only worry during the growing season, but towns people worry all the time.

If she was nesting where a predator could get to her then sounds like something may have cut her open .

A laceration sounds bad(perhaps an infection), where is this nest located?
