Hi
This chick was due to hatch out, but didnt.
I broke open shell when i was sure nothing was alive and found what looks like its intestines comming out from its stomach.
Pic enclosed.
I dont believe that was intestines. I believe that is her yolk sac which it is suppose to go into her so she can absorb it. Its like her umbilical cord and placenta. It just looks like it because I accidentally pulled it out of one of my golden comets.
I found that paper towels are horrible to use. It seems to causes them to slip and get spraddle leg. That's what they have and you can treat it but it is a pain and most people would cull.
i would try to get that shelf liner that is made of rubber material, they grip much better on that stuff. Usually the dollar store has it and it isn't expensive. I went as far as putting a very small amount of shavings for traction.
i had the same thing happen to some of my chicks a ways back. I got the legs pretty much back to normal but really never normal. I used bandaids cut as a brace, some use bread ties.

Oh- bad case of splayed legs-- you could try bracing their legs or building them chick-chairs. It looks like you have a mushy chick- here is a great guide to "uh-oh what happened to my chicks?"
