Dead Chick

I went to feed my chicks this morning and one of my cornish ones was dead and its eyes were bloody looking. Could it have chiked on some pineshaving or something?

It could have been any number of things, unfortunately. So sorry to hear about that.

It might have gotten bloody from the other ones pecking at it. An ugly thought, but it is just something chickens do.
